Rachel ends 'The Bachelor' finale by meeting her first four suitors

Rachel Lindsay wasn't even sent home from season 21 of ABC's 'The Bachelor' before it was announced she'll be the next 'Bachelorette.' USA TODAY NETWORK

With one season ending, another must begin.

But for once, there’s no lag time between the finale of a season of The Bachelor and a season of The Bachelorette beginning. Rachel took the stage to set the scene for her upcoming season Monday night during the After the Final Rose segment on finale night, only to be surprised by an ambush of introductions. The limo may be outside the studio and the mansion may just be a backdrop, but Rachel’s season started sooner than expected, and in font of a live studio audience, no less.

Here's a look at the first four men.

Demario

With nothing to lose on live television, DeMario presents Rachel with a couple of tickets to Vegas and a ring. He tells her that she doesn’t need any more suitors, and with enough Bachelorette wine, we might just believe him.

Blake

Blake is super awkward, barely knowing what to say except for that Rachel smells great. Eek. Honestly guys... that’s not a great opening line.

Dean

Dean opens up with: “I’m ready to go black and never going back.” To be frank, it was vaguely racist and uncomfortable, though Rachel was unfazed. We can only hope this isn’t a precursor to what could be a monumental season.

Eric

Eric is actually kind of wonderful and sincere, and he’s not offensive or awkward, so big points to Eric. He and Rachel share a quick dance, but just like that, it’s over.

And until The Bachelorette returns that’s all that we have to work off of. Keep your fingers crossed for sweet Rachel Lindsay and her future suitors, and we’ll see you back this spring with a new fleet of gentlemen gunning after Rachel’s heart.
