Kristen Bell helps make 'Frozen' promposal as host of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

During her turn as host of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kristen Bell used her power to help a local high school student make a pretty impressive promposal.

The Michigan native is the latest celebrity to fill in for Kimmel as host of the show after the recent birth of his son.

"Now I'm in charge tonight, so I can do whatever I want," she said. "And tonight, I want to give away some prizes. Like a blonde Oprah."

"Now I'm in charge tonight, so I can do whatever I want," she said. "And tonight, I want to give away some prizes. Like a blonde Oprah."

Once the two make it back on stage, Michael reveals himself as Kristoff and says "there's something that I wanted to ask you but I didn't know the words, so Kristen Bell is going to help me."

Bell then breaks into song under the melody of "Do You want to Build a Snowman?" as the nerve-racking promposal unfolds in front of the audience and viewers at home.

"Sarah, I want you to think about this, OK?" Bell says. "Don't answer until I'm done singing.

"Do you want to be his prom date and go with Michael to the prom? Michael wants so much for you to go because if you say no he'll have to take his mom. He knows you're just school buddies, but what the f***, he think that you're really cute. He's asking you to be his prom date in front of millions of people."

Luckily, Sarah interrupted the song and said yes. The world has already very publicly watched a proposal go wrong this week on live television.

Bell is known for roles as the voice of Princess Anna in "Frozen," and as the title characters in both the TV series "Veronica Mars" and movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
